When we left Brattleboro area, next stop was family get together with son Michael and his wife Karen at her fathers camp on Silver Lake. And what a good time it was. Karen was so thoughtful when she paid for plane ticket for oldest grandson Peter to fly up from South Carolina to join our other 2 grandsons in spending time with us. Pretty special.
While in the area we stayed at Tamworth Camping Area which was convenient, being only about 6 miles from the Camp on Silver Lake.

And then it became a boat full.

And then the fun began.
Erik was first up......
and then it was Peters turn
And then Michael
And then Matthew
It was a fun filled and enjoyable day!
On Saturday night we all headed to Hobbes Tavern in West Ossippee to celebrate Karen's mothers birthday.

Sunday was another day on the water
A thoroughly enjoyable visit. And then it was time for all to leave, Peter to fly back to South Carolina, Matthew and Erik to head back to Vernon, Vt and Karen and Michael to go back to Surry, NH and the new work week. As for us, we headed back to Tamworth Camping Area to pack up and head to Maine for another adventure.
During our stay in NH, we took a one day trip to York, ME to visit with Yuma, AZ friends Bob & Paula. They treated us well - with tours of their spacious house, York, ME, York Beach, and finishing up with a trip to Ogunquit and lunch at The Oarweed.
